This Data Retention Policy outlines how long Social Evidence ("we", "us") retains different categories of data, the conditions under which data is deleted, and the processes for data removal. This policy should be read in conjunction with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

While your subscription is active, all archived evidence associated with your account is retained in encrypted cloud storage and remains fully accessible. You may re-archive accounts to capture new content during this period.
Upon subscription expiry (for either one-time or recurring plans), your data enters a 90-day grace period. During this period:
After the 90-day grace period, your archived evidence is permanently deleted from our systems. This deletion is irreversible.
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting support@socialevidence.au. Upon receiving a valid deletion request:
Where we are subject to a legal hold, preservation order, or regulatory obligation that requires retention of specific data, the applicable data will be retained for the duration of the hold regardless of the standard retention schedule. We will comply with all lawful preservation requests from courts and regulatory authorities.
When data reaches the end of its retention period, it is permanently deleted using the following methods:
While we implement commercially reasonable measures to maintain the integrity and availability of stored data, we do not guarantee that data will be retained for any specific period beyond the commitments set out in this policy. We accept no liability for data loss resulting from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to cloud provider failures, force majeure events, or security incidents.
We may update this Data Retention Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Material changes to retention periods will be communicated to active subscribers via email.
